Better T20 bowler: Starc or Boult?

Boult at the death isn't even close to Starc. In PP they are comparable, maybe Boult is better but Starc is toe to toe.

Completely disagree. Starc is not really close to Boult in T20 cricket.

Yeah and that's because teams stopped using Boult at the death long back.

Maybe on current form, Boult > Starc but overall Starc was way more useful as bowler.

In WCs, Boult is ahead.

But in terms of the utility that Starc provides you in different phases, I would go for Starc over Boult on a given day.

Starc kinda sucks in death overs, like really is mid there.

Before 2020 he was probably second only to Bumrah as a death bowler, unless I'm forgetting someone.

Bhuvi, Bravo, Amir, Narine, basically any good T20 bowler. He never was among the World's finest, certainly in the death

Bhuvi fell off real quick after IPL 2017. Bravo was brilliant but had the advantage of bowling on Chepauk in the IPL. Narine fell off after 2015.

Starc's economy at the death was 8.30 across all t20s till 2020 (he didn't really play t20s except the IPL and t20Is so it's super competitive too). + he bowled in the Chinnaswamy too when he played for RCB and was brilliant. Bhuvi, Narine and Bravo had an economy of above 9.

Of course, these guys at their peak were better but there was a period was Starc was in that list. But Boult wasn't even close IMO. He is probably the best 3 over PP bowler you can ask for but not really useful after that.
