I had him in grey on my thing in the other thread because almost certainly thought he played for SA A but didn't. Which surprised me.

Yeah. He did get selected for the World XI. Which shows how highly regarded he was. SA Schools team at 14. A hundred against the MCC at 16. Trying to think of an XI who fell in a similar category to him.
