Is Kohli still captain if India win?
Yes. The Australia series win is credited as a win for Kohli as captain, so I believe same will apply in this case as well.Is Kohli still captain if India win?
I said it before though. They just needed to plug these holes in their record. A victory in either SA or Eng would put it up there with SA, in both would have made it clearly better. There you said it. Case closed then.
By who? It is certainly more contested as you are making it out to be.Yes. The Australia series win is credited as a win for Kohli as captain, so I believe same will apply in this case as well.
I do consider it. We have discussed this before. It does make the SA record closer to India's.Also, it is a joke that you don`t consider at all the poor SA home record compared to India`s home record and only harp on their respective away performances.
You can check any record database, cricinfo, cricbuzz etc. as I do not have access to ICC database and check for series wins by captains. It all has Kohli as the captain for the series win.By who? It is certainly more contested as you are making it out to be.
I think you have a tendency to exaggerate my points and strawman my arguments. Why you seem unwilling to seriously consider stuff like this in your ratings. You seem hellbent on judging India by a certain standard that isn't applied to South Africa based on faulty logic and I'm wondering why this should be the case and is more logical than other alternatives. Like in order for you personally to accept this Indian side overall you want them to be a rerun of the 80s WI or Waugh/Ponting's Australia without generally considering whether the current environment is conducive enough for a team to dominate to that extent. At a certain point this isn't rational.
Yeah but that team wasnt Kohlis team by the end of the series and Kohli wasnt captain for most of the series. Not sure why he gets credit. You can check any record database, cricinfo, cricbuzz etc. as I do not have access to ICC database and check for series wins by captains. It all has Kohli as the captain for the series win.
You calling it a strawman doesn't make it one, you know.I think you have a tendency to exaggerate my points and strawman my arguments.
Notice how he says "there with". Its always gonna be a new excuse, man and you know it.There you said it. Case closed then.
So England then - if we draw or win that "5th test" in England you'd consider us the greatest team since Waugh/Ponting's Australia? Good to know.To clarify, they dont have to win in all of SA/Eng/NZ, even something like winning in 1-2 and drawing or narrowly losing in the rest is improvement.
You called it well.Yall just tempting fate. England are going to smash us in the last test in all likelihood. Lost all the momentum by cancelling it.
Looks like India couldnt close the deal, and the holes in the record remains. Is that a "and" or an "or"? If India wins/draws the final test that will happen in July, India win the series in England. Will you then accept that Kohli`s India is a better team than Smith`s SA?
Or just find a new excuse?
It's pretty much the same side.Tbf Kohli’s India remains 2-1 in England
