And WI not beating india in 20 years is just a reflection on the fact that the wi teams over the last 20 years have been decidedly worse, than any Indian team WI faced in the 80s. WI haven't beaten RSA or Oz either. Come to think of it, the current WI team is worse than any team from the 80s.

Yeah, he would have taken plenty of poles had he had any support from Lyon in particular at the other end. But there's only so much a bowler can do if a batsman refuses to even try to score a run off you.

Agreed. Make no mistake, this Indian team is exceptional. Won't take that away from them but some of assertions I've read from 3 posters in particular are ludicrous; borderline trolling.

Iam 24 and I started watching cricket from 2007 but my father used to watch cricket from late 70's and tell me stories about how great West Indies team was and people used to call that team "black storm".
