Debuted in 2006. I didn't include the likes of Cook, AB De Villiers, Amla, Ross Taylor etc as from an earlier generation.

I thought Chandimal really had what it took to join or compete with the Fab Four but he had a weird career with little selection consistency.
He didn't even end up next best IMO, it's Pujara.

He's 26 and bats in the same position in SL domestic cricket as Kumar Dharmasena. He's exceeded my expectations a lot and I've adjusted my opinion but I'm not gonna adjust it that much.
