yeah, that was a big turning point. Before that India were ODI favorites in any encounters with Pakistan. After that Pakistan were able to hold their own.

It's a pity that both lost in semifinals during the 1987 world cup. They were the top 2 favourite teams in the Cup and India-Pakistan final was on the cards...could've been a great match too
