dittoHmm.. I feel Pakistan are the only fielding side I can say are worse than India with a fair amount of confidence.
I am kinda torn on England. All their fielders are good but none of them are great. Then again, I can't immediately think of a side I would rate ahead of them.I think this is where England step up because they don't much have a weak link. For a while it was Trott, but he's really improved lately. England have taken fielding very seriously recently. (They'd have to be considering they keep picking a specialist 12th man).
England's opening bowlers are two of the best outfielders in the world. KP and Trott are okay and they're probably the worst fielders in the side.
I would class Collingwood as nothing less than great. And Jimmy Anderson doesn't get enough raps - he is brilliant.I am kinda torn on England. All their fielders are good but none of them are great. Then again, I can't immediately think of a side I would rate ahead of them.
Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are comparable to India in the fielding department.Hmm.. I feel Pakistan are the only fielding side I can say are worse than India with a fair amount of confidence.
SL are a pretty decent side in the field. Better than India definitely.Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are comparable to India in the fielding department.
Collingwood is genuinely great. Strauss isn't the most naturally athletic or flashy of fielders but he catches/stops basically everything that comes remotely near him. Bell is vastly improved. Morgan is excellent. Their fast bowlers are excellent, Anderson is a gully fielder in tests.I am kinda torn on England. All their fielders are good but none of them are great. Their fast bowlers fielding at fine leg and third man are better than India's. After the fielding restrictions are over, there is not much of a difference if you watch closely.SL are a pretty decent side in the field. Better than India definitely.
other than the Indian bowlers Sehwag too isn't a great fielder is he? Not too sure though since his bowling and batting capture a lot more attention than his fielding.Their fast bowlers fielding at fine leg and third man are better than India's. Tbh... the South African fielding in LO formats is pretty over-rated these days, they have some good fielders but in Smith, Kallis, Amla, Morkel and Tsotobe they have got plenty of blokes who aren't really that agile in the field. This is probably the only area where England have the edge, it was a big part of their world T20 win. Even the fast bowlers - Broad, Anderson, Bresnan - are among the best fielders.
England just top South Africa because they're not playing a specialist keeper anymore. Having Boucher behind the stumps and AB in the ring would make the difference.
Haha, India, yeah they're definitely in the top 10.
England? I suppose you can't drop catches if you just stand there and look likes idiots as the ball drops between you.

Aus and NZ pretty even, imo.
