Such amazing line ups
  • McGrath, Lillee, Lindwall, Davidson
  • Marshall, Ambrose, Garner, Holding
  • Khan, Akram, Younis, Akhtar
  • Steyn, Donald, Adcock, S Pollock
Not seen anything of Adcock's bowling footage to visualize his action. Have seen a bit of Lindwall and Davidson's archives. And lot of everyone else. Just amazing lineups.

Heart says Marshall/ Ambrose/ Garner/ Holding.
Brain says McGrath, Lillee, Lindwall, Davidson

In all likelihood there is nothing to separate the four from each other.

It is a travesty that no one has voted for Steyn, Donald, Adcock, S Pollock. I am doing my bit to correct the historical mistake we are about to make

T Boult, T Southee, N Wagner, K Jamieson have played together. and have done quite well.

I was wondering who the quartets might be for other countries. Given these are across all time ones, would the black caps field Hadlee, Bond, Boult and Southee?

For England, possibly Barnes, Anderson, Truman and Tyson.
India - Bumrah, Kapil, Shami and Srinath?
Not sure we'd get so far with Sri Lanka or Bangladesh.

NZ: Hadlee, Cowie, Bond, Wagner imo

although if picking a NZ ATG side I'd have the following (batting position in brackets/parentheses):

Hadlee (9)
Cowie/Bond (11)
Cairns (7)
Wagner (10) with
Vettori (8)

If Jamieson gets back and does well, I could then see an attack of
Hadlee (8)
Cowie (11)
Bond (10)
Jamieson (9)
Vettori (7)
which would be a great pace attack even if the batting loses a bit

I like that as 3 of those are in my latest draft side (with Warne providing spin).
