From this generation the 4 best batsman post 2015 are clearly standout (Smith being more standout, but that's another matter). So who is the best batsman between their top subordinates (i.e.; the 2nd best batsmen from these countries). Is it India's dependable Cheteshwar Pujara? Or New Zealand's 4th best (the only one to make thier countries ATG XI) Ross Taylor? Or is it one of Smith's two subordinates; young and blooming Marnus Labuschagne; or home dominating David Warner (joint option there, can comment who you voted for)? Or is it English crisis man Ben Stokes? Let's see what the Public has to say.

Tough one, Pujara is going to be very fondly remembered for a long time for the two series in Australia, let alone all the other runs earlier in his career. Had to face some brutal pitches during his decline too which affected his final numbers. Still go for ross the boss very marginally, but it could go either way.

Bit unfair to Pujara since The Boss was more important than his results show, yet his results were also why he was so important.

I've said it longer elsewhere, but he was the senior batsman in his 6th test and this was the team sheet for that game. He had no right to achieve what he did when starting from that situation.
