Kohli's presence of mind was unreal this year in T20s.

Stokes double was edge of the seat stuff. Stokes, Astle and McCullum, is power hitting a genetic thing for kiwis ?

Agree with all of this.

Would add Jon Trott scoring 82* to win us the Royal London Cup. After the troubles he has had was great moment for him, and obviously us winning some silverware.

Middlesex and Yorkshire's contrived 40/40 was brilliant, (unless you support somerset). Made all the cold days watching county cricket worth while!

Athlai

Not Terrible
As a New Zealander, no good moments found.

Tests 2 W - 1 D - 6L ...and the wins were against Zimbabwe and the draw was rain affected
ODIs 7 W - 4L meh, bilateral series
T20I 8 W - 2L honestly couldn't remember this, 'sif T20 records matter

Sandakan's dismissals of Joe Burns and Mitchell Marsh. Cricket's rarest skill executed perfectly.

Surely NZ's best moment has to be bowling out India for 79 in the World T20?

We also successfully defended about 120 against Australia a few days later. Good times.

Bavuma's run out. Probably the best piece of ground fielding I've ever seen.

Bangladesh beating England was gold.

Starc in SL about the only highlight in recent times for Australia. Series win in NZ was good, but that's about it.

SA England Test Match in Johannesburg. That Root century...followed by a Broad special, at the Bull Ring full of Saffers baying for blood. Doesn't get any better.

Yeah, that was great, it was just absolutely Broad's day, typified Amla's and moreover Bavuma's dismissals.

Also found Plunkett tying the first ODI against SL with that last-ball six to be surprisingly enjoyable in the scheme of things

The only real favorable thing this year from an NZ perspective has been the maturing of Tom Latham, and if he's able to work past getting out after getting a start, we've got an international quality opening batsman for the first time since Richardson retired.

Bangladesh becoming a real threat at home has been a treat, Quinton De Kock and the way he's batting has been amazing, personally watching Australia struggle away from home and now at home due to the ball moving a bit has also been a highlight as flat track bullies seem to be having a tough time at the moment.

dale steyn being a monster and the performances of Pakistan, South Africa and England (kind of) away from home in an era of home town heroes. rabada's rise and from a fanboy perspective, boult's return to form, henry bowling well in india and the Wagner cult.

dale steyn tho

For a serious answer, Broad's spell (particularly the Taylor catches) and Stokes 258, box office viewing.

Wish I hadn't been at work for McBackstabber's 100 though, would have been my favourite.

Have to agree with those who've mentioned Broad's 6-for in SA.

Domestically, any number of moments from the rise of Sam Curran.
