Cricket wouldnt be the same without richie benaud he is the voice of cricket and the man everyone loves if he does the bowloligist should step up with his avenue of apprehension, doorway to depature etc

Benuad was an absolute legend, both on the field and even during his career as a cricket commentator, but it goes without saying that the time has come for him to go, though still it would feel a bit weird to watch cricket with that familiar voice missing.

Or perhaps Dennis Commiti (spelling?). "That ball was centimetre perfect..."
He used to do cricket as well. So no thanks there.

Nicholas is alright when he is talking about cricket (well maybe not when he called for James Hopes to be in the Test team), but it becomes terrible when he gets all excited about new programs to be shown on Ch9 and when he has dick in hand, and has a pull over the Australian team as if iti s the greatest thing to happen since sliced bread.

Well I dare say I'm gonna miss old Richie. Was the best commentator by a long shot.

I believe that he's also either played in or been at more games than anyone else in the history of the game.

Richie may have declined, which still probably left him above Greig, Chappell, Slater, Taylor, Healy, Lawry, Nicholas, and O'Donnell over the Test series.

There have been plenty more things dragging down the coverage, before Benaud.
It's gonna be very weird not hearing Richie's voice. It's like gonna be an entirely different sport.:(

At the last estimate, yes.
