I need 30 off 17 balls.

Maybe, maybe.

EDIT

10 taken off the next 4!

20 needed off 13.

EDIT 2!

6 taken off the next 3!

14 needed off the last 10 balls, what drama!

Dilhan 50 off 36 balls!

Field leading from the front, and Dilhan destroying behind him, taking the role that his fellow country man Devapriya normally holds.

EDIT 3:

7 taken off the last 4 balls of the over.

296-4, chasing 301.

Come on. Such drama.

EDIT 4:

YESSSS! 999ERS WIN!!!! 999ERS WIN!!!!! 999ERS WIN!!!!!!

A quick single, followed by a 4, means the game is over with 4 balls to spare!

Field made 75* (64), and Dilhan made 53*(40), and the unbeaten stand of 112 won the match.

And that's the end of the match. Jamees 999ers won by 6 wickets.
Sad Decadent XI 300-2
Jamees 999ers 301-4

Thriller. Such a thriller.

Those two wickets seal it if you had any doubts, congrats on the win again. My batting lineup is pathetic at the moment, bowlers are hardly any better. Hopefully there'll be someone decent on the transfer market in the next week or two so I can replace some of these guys.
Cheers - quite shocked to be honest, although obviously by resting your star man it made it fairly even!

Think the man of the match award is a tad harsh on Verde though - 85* & 2-28 from a full 10 is about the best all round performance I've seen in one of my games.

looks like Bushpigs - Scaly Piscine is going to be a close finish - Piscine 160-2 off 32 chasing 294 to win
Would have been if my respectable-strong batsman on very attacking decided to score ridiculously slowly. I do wish Battrick wouldn't contrive results with this sort of nonsense. Anyway seems like Dillon could be one of those death bowlers that is almost guaranteed a hatful.

Lost against Viveash. Was hoping my bowlers would have done better but can't fault them seeing as this is the first game for all of them. I'll play my regular bowlers next game though.

83-0 after 16 overs... kinda surprised to be going so slow but I'm sure things are going to pick up dam soon. duggan probably headed for a big score.

Duggan* 53 (52 balls)
Wheat 28 (45 balls)

After four nail biting deliveries, Lodge works a signle to win by 1 wicket! Stunning!

Just so you realise how close this friendly came, here's the last 5 or so overs (read from bottom up):

Code:
End of Over 49: 298-9, runrate=6.08
Abdul kadir	9-0-47-5
Lodge*	2 (5 balls)
	6 (4 balls)

48.4 1	Abdul kadir to Lodge
Comfortable single down to third man.
48.3 .	Abdul kadir to Lodge
Gently worked out to mid on.
48.2 .	Abdul kadir to Lodge
Wonderful line and length bowling from Abdul kadir. Lodge tries to force it away, but can only pick out the fielder.
48.1 .	Abdul kadir to Lodge
Good, short, lifting ball on off stump. Lodge gets right over the top of it, tapping it down in close on the off side.

End of Over 48: 297-9, runrate=6.19, reqrunrate=0.50 (297-5)
Malik	9-0-62-3
Lodge*	1 (1 balls)
Mansell	6 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Wilkes b. Malik 1 (FOW: 290/9)
47.6 2	Malik to Mansell
That should have been three runs but Boyce is quick as a snake and keeps the score down to two.
47.6 nb.	Malik to Mansell
no ball, Good ball! Shortish ball outside off stump that keeps a little low. The batsman attempts the cut and misses, playing all over the top of it.
47.5 .	Malik to Mansell
Plays off the back foot, fielded by Bhutia, no run.
47.4 4	Malik to Mansell
You can't bowl like that to this batsman, he'll murder you.
[B]47.3 W	Malik to Wilkes
He tries to paddle it onto the leg side, but he's bowled around his legs![/B]
47.2 1	Malik to Lodge
Angled in, managed to steer it into the gap, deep cover doing the fielding.
[B]47.1 W	Malik to Eagles
A disaster for Eagles! Went for the big one and he played it so late that Poutney had already caught the ball and whipped off the bails by the time he finished his follow through.[/B]

End of Over 47: 289-7, runrate=6.15, reqrunrate=3.00 (297-5)
Abdul kadir	9-0-46-5
Eagles*	1 (1 balls)
Wilkes	1 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Carmody c. Boyce b. Abdul kadir 0 (FOW: 288/7)
46.6 1	Abdul kadir to Eagles
On the front foot, flicked around to the region of mid wicket, deep backward square running wide to field.
[B]46.5 W	Abdul kadir to Carmody
Took a risk and just threw the bat at it, but unluckily it went straight to Boyce, who took the easiest catch in the world.[/B]
[B]46.4 W	Abdul kadir to Tolley
Oh and Poutney's taken that brilliantly. High and to the right, that catch will be on the highlight reels for years to come.[/B]
46.3 1	Abdul kadir to Wilkes
Advanced, cracking shot straight to Bhutia at long off.
[B]46.2 W	Abdul kadir to Lewington
Lewington has a backlift like an octopus falling out of a tree, all over the place, no wonder it's gone straight through him, clean bowled.[/B]
46.1 1	Abdul kadir to Tolley
Tolley has swept that to square leg for a single. Not thrilling stuff, but then I'm not easily excited.

End of Over 46: 286-4, runrate=6.22, reqrunrate=3.00 (297-5)
Malik	8-0-54-1
Tolley*	2 (2 balls)
Lewington	57 (46 balls)
Last Wicket: Mckenzie Run Out 37 (FOW: 281/4)
45.6 1	Malik to Tolley
Played to the covers for a single. Rotates the strike.
45.5 3	Malik to Lewington
Played to backward point who overthrows. A single becomes three.
45.4 1	Malik to Tolley
The umpire hasn’t signalled leg byes, so there must have been some bat on it somewhere.
[b]45.3 W	Malik to Mckenzie
The ball gets cut hard backward of point, but Boyce makes a superlative dive. Gets to his feet and pings the stumps down at the bowler's end. Magical bit of fielding![/b]
45.2 1	Malik to Lewington
Malik won’t be happy, poor fielding lets the batting side steal a single.
45.1 1	Malik to Mckenzie
Mckenzie has managed to nurdle that away for a single.

End of Over 45: 279-3, runrate=6.20, reqrunrate=3.80 (297-5)
Abdul kadir	8-0-43-2
Mckenzie*	36 (16 balls)
Lewington	53 (44 balls)

Well done mate, never expected to win my batting is just too weak.
