Battle of the Test Matches II

While Colombo and The Oval each had a bowling performance for the gods (Shoaib and Chandra), Chennai was one the best overall games ever. 1300+ runs, 38 wickets, a double century, a 15-fer and a Tendulkar ton to boot.

Chennai. Remember watching it nervously in college canteen when India had to get some 15 odd runs with 3 wickets in hand. One of the great memories.

Chennai... Saw it live... get goosebumps just thinking about that day. I guess its kinda underrated because it came on the back of probably the best test ever.
So many great moments in that match, but Mark Waugh's catch to get rid of VVS is something ill always remember.

Am I missing something? Racking my brain hard to figure out why Cape Town 2006 was nominated. Can't remember the test super well other than Stuart Clark dominating on debut. Looking at the scorecard isn't giving me anything.

Yeah I dunno - vcs nominated it - maybe he was confusing it with Joburg that series?

Yeah, Brisbane for me too, please.

Posterity's a bitch to Meckiff, isn't she? Poor fella's best remembered for being called for chucking and for being run out to tie a test.
