Sobers for sure.

1. Its a lone hand in the innings. His 168 is nearly four time the next score of 43 !
2. Of the 240 runs scored while he was at the crease(including extras) he scored 70 percent !!.
3.Davidson, Benaud and Mckiff make a formidable attack.

I'm going Sobers. Two other people scored hundreds in Hussey's game, and his wasn't even the highest score.

Both legendary innings. I'll flip a coin and go for Fredericks. West Indies won the test, the only one they managed to win in that series, and Lillee/Thomson/Gilmour circa 75 is probably a little better than Botham/Willis/Hendrick. Both good attacks though.

Yeah... but none of the others farmed the strike with a number 11 for 107 runs. Perfectly legitimate that Sobers should go through, but it's selling Hussey a bit short to suggest that Hayden and Ponting's innings were comparable.
