To take 2 more wickets for only 14 runs more is surely more of an acheivement, it's not like it was 9/80 or anything.

besides, the seven wickets warne took were much much better batsmen then laker's 9, not to mention it was a pitch which wasn't as condusive to bowling as laker's. Laker's is considered such an amazing achievement because it has the weight of history behind it. Warne's was a better bowling effort.

I have been saying for a long time that Wasim and Waqar's stats would have been much much better if Pakistan's catching during that era wasn't so attrocious. No wonder they got most of their wickets on thier own.
