Battle of the Sporting Heroes

BoyBrumby

Englishman
Johnson & Louis.

Johnson really did seem to be on another level to the field for most of his career and was racing history more than his supposed opponents.

Louis actually retired as the reigning champion and had only one (avenged) defeat to Schmelling spoling his record before his tax woes forced him to comeback when he was past his prime. Armstrong's record, as impressive as it is, is tainted. Not really so much for the (alleged) drug use (when in Rome) as his persistent denials which, when weighed up with the evidence, are insulting to the intelligence. Wish him all the best on his comeback tho... :p
