Lock.

Disappointed I didn't get online in time to vote for Valentine in the last round. That round seemed to go by very quickly.
The round lasted for 21 hours, i would have like it to last for 24 hours but i had to go to work and no one voted for 5 hours. If there isn't votes every couple hours i can't do much, most people vote a lot together and then those no votes for a long time, so i had to take it everyone who wanted to vote did. I'll make it manatory they last for 24 hours next round if people want.

UPDATE: 8 - 5 to Briggs, interesting to see the flood of votes for Briggs after the action concerns where brought up.

The action concerns were purely concerning his quicker ball, a very low percentage of actual deliverys.

While facing him, the Australia captain said after his first two balls, 'strike one, strike two'

After seeing vision of himself on film Lock changed his action:)

Two great left armers, Verity I think once took 10-30, and was already a legend before he was killed in the war, so I will give it to him just over deadly:)

Very tricky one.

Verity would have had a longer career but for war, and was also one of few bowlers to dismiss Bradman a lot. Both needed stickies to really succeed, as finger-spinners often do, both had very crucial off matches but I'm going to go Underwood because he had less opportunity to play in his favoured conditions.

I'll go Deadly too. He still maintained a very, very respectable average after playing a fair portion of his career on covered pitches.
