ROUND ONE ----- ----- MATCHUP TWENTY-TWO

A Flower (Zimbabwe) (LHB, WK)

GA Gooch (England) (RHB, RM)

BoyBrumby

Englishman
Much as I love Goochie, I think I'm going to have to go for the senior Flower here. A man of principle too & Gooch certainly blotted his copybook by taking part on the first rebel tour to SA.

Barney Rubble

International Coach
Flower all the way - carried a poor Zimbabwe side for years on end. Made more centuries in desperate rearguards than I've had hot dinners.

twctopcat

International Regular
Most successful FC cricketer ever in runs or the only world class batsmen produced by Zimbabwe?? Sorry Gooch but i'm gonna have to go with Flower here, a great great player.

Pedro Delgado

International Debutant
Hardest one yet for me, GG was a wonderful player particularly from '90-'95 and his 150 against Warne in his pomp will live with me forever as one of my favourite innings of all time, even the great one said well played when he finally got him out.

Ergo, I am voting for Flower.
