Lee. I know there are haters, and yes his celebrations for dismissing tail-enders are a bit toolish, but they're really a pretty small blemish on a great bloke and a highly entertaining bowler to watch.

Yeah you see a lot more of a player's character when you're actually at the match rather than watching on TV - and Brett Lee is one guy that always seems to stand out as a good bloke. He cops a lot of stick from the crowd but deals with it with real humour.

While his bowling is frustrating all too often, not least because we've seen how good it is when he gets it right, you can never fault his effort either, which counts for a lot in my books wrt fast bowlers.

Yeah and he won a lot of admirers in England for the guts he showed with the bat in 2005.

Yeah, there's the difference between him and Harmison. Harmison too, is great when he gets it right (I know this isn't a universal consensus but meh) but more often than not he did frustrate, except that his effort clearly could be faulted.

Found this with Pietersen, went to watch Hampshire v Middlesex at Uxbridge a couple of years and he was fielding at the boundary right near us, was so good with the kids that day, he maybe a bit of a prat from time to time but basically I think he is a good bloke.

Anyway in this it is obviously Garry Pratt.

Taylor a fine player though.

Brett Lee for me. It seems trite to say that a bowler with 300-plus Test wickets was frustrating and a little over-rated, but he was both IMO. That being said, he a good honest servant for Australia, gave 110% every match and importantly seemed like a top bloke to go with it.
