Seriously it would be somewhere along
Lancashire
Kent
Yorkshire
Hampshire
Surrey
For a serious answer I agree to an extent with Lord, Surrey have gone off the boil a bit after last season, but on paper still have a very good side.
Yorkshire are the other way around IMO, last season was a big let down.. but some good trading has seen them suddenly turn good and even if the team on paper doesn't quite look as strong the whole team chips in a does well overall.
Lancashire, I've always rated Lancashire highly they have some fine indivual players and I would say they are nearly identical to Kent, you never quite know who will win the match.. very lucky to escape demotion last season on NRR (Was all planned wasn't it Graham
![Wink1 ;) ;)](/forum/images/smilies/standard/wink1.gif)
) However a very fine outfit in both forms.
Hampshire, Now where do I start :!( - Must surley be the best side in the world as Kent have a fear of beatting them :!( - But in all seriouness they have some very fine indivual talents, and if they trade well this season they could become a force to be reconked with, just at the present though I think Yorks/Lancs are just ahead, However I think special mention should go to both Hamps and Kent as we had a pile of rubbish when we both started compared to most sides.. so to even be where we are is an achievment!
Kent - Like I said above when we started out we had 2 players over 30 in the OD side (thanks to Lara joining
![Biggrin :D :D](/forum/images/smilies/original/biggrin.gif)
) - we struggled through the season and went from 2nd to relagation candidates in the last week. Over the off season I made a massive gamble to trade Lara to NSW in a deal that saw 3 players arrive and that was the start of things to come as along with the draft players, I suddenly had a few players people wantted and managed to bring the likes of Andy Flower to the side and like the say the rest is history, and hopfully the Kent side will take the next step up in this season's draft/trade. (just got to work out who's leaving first)
