It's called the BBL or the IPL or whatever a country calls it.Could Cricket follow baseball/basketball whereby there is a regular season followed by a quarter, semi and finals playoffs?
That's a good idea. I would love to see the Big Bash season expand next year so that every team plays 162 matches to be in line with the MLB regular season. I think that'd be a nice way to seed the 8 teams required to have quarter finals. I guess with My Kitchen Rules and House Rules, Channel 7 might prefer to go down the NBA route and have the teams playing just 82 games each.Could Cricket follow baseball/basketball whereby there is a regular season followed by a quarter, semi and finals playoffs?
I feel like cricket would have a shot of being as good as baseball if it just banned the ball from bouncing before reaching the batsman. Far too many pesky variables at play here. There are things cricket could learn from Baseball, but at the end of the day it is hard to see cricket ever being as good/popular as baseball is
And concede 5 runs every time they touch the ball.Is baseball that sport where the bowlers are all chuckers, the batters are constantly getting out for ducks and the fielders are all so terrible they use gloves?
