In the sim you can be a utility player who is listed at 99. While the utility player is a bit worse then a player of the same stats in that players position he is a hell of alot better then that player in any other position...i.e.
Playing on the wing...7/7 winger is better then a 7/7 utility
Playing in the front row....7/7 utility ***** on a 7/7 winger.
