My word you talking about others being triggered is like Broad talking about the spirit of the game.Exhibit A being the two paragraphs of triggered dirge you’ve quoted
Oh rightMy word you talking about others being triggered is like Broad talking about the spirit of the game.
Going to need a big turnaround for the former to eventuateHappy for England to have the moral/sporting victories, if Australia keep winning the tests.
I wouldn'tIt's worth bearing in mind that if the shoe was on the other foot we Australians would be carrying on in a very similar manner, with perhaps a bit less 'spirit of the game' self-righteousness.
If this had happened at the G, I'm sure England would've faced 80k local fans booing them and then a whole lot of fuss in your press, with voices of moderation getting drowned out. As far as I can see, most England fans on here aren't that bothered.I wouldn't
Probably. I don't think you'd have had the whinging reaction from the Aus set up and former players like we've seen from England thoughIf this had happened at the G, I'm sure England would've faced 80k local fans booing them and then a whole lot of fuss in your press, with voices of moderation getting drowned out. I think he might not have realised, it was sort of when those types of loans were quite new in NZ from memory, and there hadn't been warnings etc about them in the media at that stage. As for the Stacey Jones thing, I have been horrified about that for years. I consider it a black spot on him as a person and I cannot fathom how he allows himself to be involved, unless he truly doesn't know how damaging loan sharks are.
You would have if Lehmann or Langer was coach. Less likely under McDonald & CumminsProbably. I don't think you'd have had the whinging reaction from the Aus set up and former players like we've seen from England though
Come on man, you can do better than thisTrue but Broad's edge to slip was much worse than this. This is nothing compared to that single piece of poor sportsmanship that single-handedly cost Australia the 2013 Ashes (it destroyed their spirit)
Yeah, Broad seems like a good guy but he’s also a troll and definitely enjoys itI actually think Broad is very self aware. He enjoys playing the villain and winding people up and he is pretty good at it.
Nah, that was amateur hour from BairstowIt's worth bearing in mind that if the shoe was on the other foot we Australians would be carrying on in a very similar manner, with perhaps a bit less 'spirit of the game' self-righteousness.
Seriously doubt thisCome on man, you can do better than this
About as believable as stokes saying he’d withdraw the appealI wouldn't
