Nah michael didnt put off Ambrose for too long. Obviously he would like Ambrose (probably planned hed be 10 or 11th pick) but had to grab the B's.
We can agree that SCC made it interesting at least. Else Michaelf7 was running away with it.

What is your definition of failure?
Same as most people. Go through his 52 Tests, I think he did well to amazing in 75% of his Tests. I dont mean much by the comment though, thats a terrific percentage, just trying to think logically that having Bradman does not mean theyd be unbeatable. :)

Bradman has a surprising amount of single figure scores near his hundreds, a lot the inning before or after one too

His ability to turn 20/30s into 100s and then of course 100s into 200s a big reason for his average

Was particularly hoping Boycott would slip to me this round. Oh well.

I'll take Colin Cowdrey and David Boon.

Thanks NUFAN, will help me a fair bit. :)
No worries, I thought about which path I wanted to go down. I was going to Gs for both opener and fast bowler but I think my Sir B combo is better.

Ill go Alec Bedser.
