He's certainly be a shock selection right now. He's been mentioned with regard to making the ODI side in the past, but with the current selection trend towards young players (witness Voges being put ahead of Hodge for the last three Ashes tests) his moment has probably passed. He'd need a season or two of absolutely huge runmaking in both Australia and England.
