Yep losing week 1 vs the rabbitohs would have been good viewing.

Im really not on board Jake Lehmann as a captain. Its not specifically his tactics, more his mannerisms and dirty moe/unusually big eye lids. I just think (even more so with hindsight) that Carey was the better option for this particular tournament.

Something isn’t quite right, sure. They only really got pumped by QLD, the rest were close. A few more runs here, another wicket there, a day late and a dollar short.

The JLT Cup is just being given a format similar to the World Cup - a few teams play a lot of games, many of which will be meaningless.

I've really enjoyed the format of this tournament actually. I'd love for them to run a second leg of it in March/April next year after the shield season.

Last time Maxwell played NSW on a small Sydney ground he nearly made 300 himself. Not sure how a team with Larkin at no. 5 is going to handle a chase of 400+

That was when Maxwell had hope of an international career. He's lost that now. I'd expect NSW to be chasing no more than 35-40.

One of the major jobs for the new CEO should be to fix the domestic 50-over comp which was destroyed 4-5 years ago with this atrocious scheduling idea, which has unsurprisingly led to us being a **** ODI team.
