cant believe hopes is retiring. although this was the first summer since 2007-08 in which he averaged over 25 with the ball so maybe he was done.

This is why I'm happy they collapsed. almost certainly if left to declare they would have put too many runs on the board and/or left it too late to bowl victoria out. 270 and 100 overs was basically perfect, considering Victoria were likely to stonewall in the case of early wickets. (Would have liked 300 odd tho)

Head has had a Shaun Marshesque like summer but since he is 10 years younger I would have no problem with him making some touring squads, especially if he does something in the final. What's the pitch like at glenelG ?
