I heard he not back to the IPL.
Yeh I think we might have to make some harsh judgements soon,Henriques,Carters who is now the keeper phew,Rohrer,Sandhu,Abbott with the bat have been bloody awful, time to make some calls surely there are some inform kids in grade, and our 2nds side doing pretty good.
Well we did reward Hughes and sent Lenton back.

I was worried about Patto at 3, but he's been good there so kinda wonder where you'd fit Larkin in. Also Moz will be back after the BBL you'd think, so probably one bat to drop out (Rohrer or Hughes). Doesn't solve the problem of too long a tail and not quite enough in the pace attack though.

I guess Copeland doesn't solve it.
Rohrer has played 4 games averages early 20's,time to end his first class career.
Micky Edwards,O'keefe at 7.

Parra Under 14s rolled Newcastle for 124 and won 5 down with four overs to spare. Also won the under 12s and 15s. The latter side chased down 248 at Tunks Park after being 6/70 odd and won eight or nine down with a last ball six, having needed 14 off the last over. Wish I'd seen that.

So apparently there's one more Rep game for the boys. In February they play a Combined Country XI at either Bradman Oval or the SCG. I'm more excited about this than Burgeinho. Both great grounds, but 've played at Bradman Oval and am obviously hoping like hell they get to play at the Cricket Ground. If they do I reckon I'll be in tears I'll be that proud.

Luke Butterworth has retired from first class cricket quietly. Just as he played, under the radar. But a seriously good player. @crickettas

Futures League games over in 3 days, seems like all games this summer are over before you know it.

Sandgropers did the Bureaucrats by an innings, ACT doing marginally netter in the second dig making 169. MG Hogan taking 3/10, Nicholas 3/59, Duffield and O'Connor 2 each. Condon best with the bat making 27 & 43.

"Tahs too good for the Bananabenders by an innings as well. Qld making 181 in their second innings, Labuschagne 50 but Renshaw 17, Henry 6. Bazley did well again with 36. With the ball Cowell 4/40, Sams 3/53.

Next round starts 25 Jan

Now that BBL was a bit of fun wasn't it, but aren't we all glad it's over and we can get back to some real cricket.

Futures League has started another round, looks like they are being used as practice matches for shield teams with a lot of shield regulars playing.

Vic v The 'Tahs VIc 9/296

Vic keeper Ayres got 112 while Hancock, 65 and Holland,77, made runs. Abbott 4/48, Copeland and Lalor have a couple.
Neville is keeping and Somerville has 1/50

Qld v SA Bananabenders 8/385

Heazlett 118, Little Jimmy Pierson the keeper,73 and Wildermuth 103no, probably his best score at this level. The rest of the top order didn't do so well including Renshaw, Labuschange, Forrest and Floros.

Andrews has 6/111, Valente is back to earth after his last game with 1/74

TAS vs ACT Bureaucrats 143 Tas 4/266

Condon 55, Lees 4/41, Wheatley and Webster with 2 cheap wickets each. Rose 1/19 and Kingston 1/51

Silk and Jewell each made a 50 and a century opening stand.

Doran 45 off 45 balls,2 sixes, Doolan 58 no, McDermott38 no . Rogers 3/60

ACT have been well beaten in a couple of games and this looks like being another one.
