Man, Burns is so dire. I really think the expectation of Australian selection is getting to him. I would prefer Maddo as Australia's opening backup behind FInch and Warner.

Labuschagne got a good first ball which he played around and was LBW, less irritating.

$1.77 I mean. So dire though, the bet was voided as apparently Cricket Australia have stated that if no runs are scored the bet is automatically voided. This seems absurd. I got a free bet out of it, so not really fussed, would be if I bet more.

Nathan Reardon has looked really good today. I think he is at the stage in his career where he knows his game and should hopefully have a productive Shield Season. So much more talented then his 26 first class batting average suggests.

There is one round scheduled, but it is all pink ball day night, so perhaps not the ideal preparation for the First Test at the GABBA. SA vs NSW is at Adelaide, so yeah good prep for the Third Test. Warner was just saying recently that the team is practicing together with the red ball so I don't think we can offer any excuses.

Ben Cutting looks to be back to his best after looking really ordinary last year. Nowhere near Oz selection but he is looking very important for QLD again.

Just means selection is 1 round of pink ball plus white ball form. Not ideal. Now maybe they have the team picked already anyway so it's moot.
