Career strike rate of less than 60 in ODD? And they've got Dunk there? Western Australia the only chance and probably only for four day cricket.

Slightly harsh to drop Hartley. He has never been a great ODD bat; however he was Queensland’s second highest scorer last season.

Dunk's been belting the door down for a while, he had to be given a chance. He has the potential to be better in that form than Hartley.

Agree that Dunk deserves his place. However I find it strange that Hartley has been dropped despite the squad containing Robinson, Broad, Reardon and Forrest who all have similar (i.e poor) records in one day cricket.

Not named in our first Shield game and I'm happy he wasn't. He'll provide excellent cover though if injuries take place.

Swan, Cutting and Walter form a solid bowling attack with Boyce most likely ahead of Gannon.

Can't wait for some OD action tomorrow, glad it's gone back to 50 Overs instead of that gimmick 45 over crap last season.

Yep fair enough he didn't get a go in game 1 - can almost see him job sharing with Swan, who has carried some injuries the last few years.

Either way, once Feldman gets back on deck it is a pace battery with some really good depth.

No one has objected to PEWS comment, so I suppose it must be true.

But seriously, what about Peter Forrest? The fact that QLD has him must surely make us less evil.

I'm not even confident that we'll be able to last 50 overs, hope to be proven wrong.

What an awesome over by Peter Siddle by the way, pretty poor shot though from Hopes.

A little surprised that we've included Paul Robinson's son ahead of Joe Burns, Jason Floros, Chris Hartley etc.
