They wanted a draft...and if the BigBash was taking place at a time that wasn't smack bang in the middle of holiday season they might have even got it, as it is the players were never gonna allow it.

All Perth needs now is a decent spinner and they'll have a very strong XI.

They should have grabbed Heal. He's a good 20/20 bowler. But he's gone to one of the Melbourne teams I see. Considering what SA did last year with spin, Arthur could be undoing all his good batsmen signings without a decent spin bowler.

BTW what happens to darren pattinson,he is a brit.(according to the rules).
BTW renegades no overseas star,doubt they have the money to sign 1 now.

Who else are we looking at as overseas possibilities?
Dwayne Bravo was supposedly in talks with a Melbourne side IIRC.
Darren Bravo got mentioned at one stage, no idea how accurate that report was though TBH.
Then there's the possibility of Afridi and Pollard coming back. Especially since Afridi is now 'retired' from internationals.
