Fixtures for Season One Released

The Fixtures for Season One have been released for the Australian Cricket League. The first round sees Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne all hosting matches.

Information for the season:

Fixtures:

First Class Fixtures will be run on Monday. Deadline is 5pm (Brisbane time)

One Day Fixtures will be run on Wednesday. Deadline is 5pm (Brisbane time)

Twenty20 Fixtures will be run on Sunday. Deadline is Midnight Saturday (Brisbane time)

Injuries

Injuries will be simulated following the First Class fixture.

Points

First Class points will be awarded as follows:

Outright victory: 6 points1
1st Innings Win: 2 points
Outright Innings Victory: 2 bouns points

One Day points will be awarded as follows:

Victory: 4 points
Tie: 2 points
100 run or 8 wicket victory: 1 bonus point

Twenty20 points will be awarded as follows:

Victory: 2 points
Tie: 1 point

Contracted Players

To determine the Contracted player list for Season Two three players from each fixture will be awarded a 3-2-1 vote. The top 25 players at season end will then become the contracted list for Season Two.

That's all I can think of at the moment, and should be enough to get us started. Round 1 and further round teams are to be submitted here.

Please detail which round and which fixture your team is for. Remember the 20/20 will use the regular one day stats now. Round 1 fixtures is same for FC, Od & 20/20 ie. Brisbane host Perth for FC, OD & 20/20.

1st games are this Monday. Starting with FC.

FC will be followed by OD which will be concluded with 20/20.

Could possibly get a subforum, but I want to see how interest goes until we get one.

A great effort in getting all of the teams in for the first FC fixtures. Given they've been submitted so early, I've run the games early.

There have been some wonderful results to begin the season. Two outright victories and a draw.

Some big batting performances and some standout bowlers. Certainly a pleasing beginning to the season.

Dissapointing to let Hobart get away in the 2nd dig... Had them on the ropes but couldnt capitalise...

Cozzy was great in both knocks to continue his form from the pre-season games...
