On eye test alone he looks a class above basically every other young Aus batsman going around right now. Just needs to turn that into stats (which is he, so far this season).

Could easily be 20* if he hit a few more gaps too, drilled some glorious shots straight at fielders

I think he was "meant to be" a Shield opener when he was in Queensland too. Social would know better than me but I think he used to open quite a bit in grade cricket there, and he obviously basically got to bat where he wanted at that level.

Would be great if he got a score here. I like Bancroft more than most here but his form is awful and I really don't want it to be Harris or Konstas. Hard to argue coming out in the fourth over is actually very different from opening on a technical level either.

The thing that does my head in is that Harris and Renshaw have obvious flaws and their games have not improved at all
