Australia A tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe

8 of the India "A" side played in the last India series and 7 in the last match - interesting definition of an "A" side.
It's a legitimate A side; I think the real point here is that the Zimbabwe-India series put forward an interesting definition of ODIs. It was all but an A side when it was playing the other day as well.

A better indication is comparing the side to the CT final side. Four players who played both, so it isn't quite a complete A side. As has been pointed out, they must have the South African tour in mind.

Players with well over 100 ODI appearances shouldn't really be in there if you ask me.
Nah, you're not making any sense imo. It's not a 2nd XI, it's a development squad that can also double up as a selection trial of sorts.

Marc should check out the Bangladesh A squad in Emgland atm, about half the national team is present, probably all of their frontline bowlers.

good 20 overs here from Aus, SA fighting now, run rate still solid though, MMarsh getting into the act

Finch is doing well again with the bat, not getting much help though. Paine has been terrible with the bat this tour. Doolan really isn't a 50 over player either. Lost the past 6 wickets for 25 runs..
