Well, such is the case. You make one slip-iup and you're out. Been happening for years.

I'd still rather see Hogg in the test squad ahead of Hauritz/White, because of the reasons you stated for MacGill. Proven as a capable international bowler.

Hauritz seems to have been around for a while, so I guess he's gotta get an opportunity some time, and White is really getting his bowling together (and his batting too with a century today Vs. QLD), so he is developing still, probably. But Hauritz is at the stage you can put him into a test team, in my opinion.

I never realised Lewis was such a good player. It thought he was just one of them guys that always plays FC, but doesn't do too much.

His last 2 seasons have been awesome. There was a big write-up about him in the paper a while back. Did he get MOTM in the Pura Cup final last year?? I remember he had tremendous figures. Destroyed WA.

would that have anything to do with bracken bowling pump (and don't quote statistics from this year, massively disfigured due to one game) while mick lewis bowls a fair deal quicker, averages less than 15 in both forms of the game this year (before the match against qld at least) and it can be discovered what he's like against higher class opposition.

like to qualify that i don't wholeheartedly support the selection of mick lewis, but bracken has been found out in the international arena. that was the most disheartening spell i've ever seen, watching him bowl 110km/h off-spinners from a long run vs india.
you lucky i have to sleep bro... you gunna die tomorrow. die badly. you did it!!!!!!

lewis is still a fair few clips below shane harwood. but he has been awesome over the past few years, just doesn't seem to get the accolades. a reason for that is that he is one of those guys who consistently takes wickets, and doesnt just come out and take a 6 for. will always get two or three poles

and i wouldn't say that shane warne had proved too much in his 8 first class games before his test debut. and as a spinner, a FC average of 35 isn't terible
