Yeah the conditions suit England and we already saw how Ashes 2005 team gave Australia a tough time there
Well it also depends, are we assuming all players are at their best? There’s a lot of non overlap with the English team especially.

what England? in 50s England, England would win simply on the account of being infinitely more experienced on wet pitches, on good hard wickets it'd be an Australian win, on greentops and turners it'd be tooths and nails, good thread.

I was thinking 80s Eng wickets, a nice mix of seamers and the occasional flat wicket. Era specific it is too much of an advantage.
