Nah man, he's not Rocky.Nothing on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art?
To be fair, no one has said he's going to walk in and own all batsmen.lol he bears a srtiking resemblance to the incredible hulk. Looks very vulnerable to injury. Also it worth noting that pace isn't everything, look how Flintoff got pwned int the IPL this year, you need variation. He doesn't look like he'll swing the ball too much either.
Nah, what would be the point of that? We can't have him actually playing a reasonably serious game of cricket - that'd ruin the mystique."......even Rocky had a montage......"
You know what'd be awesome, though? Seeing him bowl in a match.
Yes, a few balls in a net, with a very weird action. It says he's injured now, something about doing a shoulder injury in a practice match. My internet has screwed up so I can't watch the video, does it actually show him bowling.
Yes it does towards the end..off a shortened run-up though. My internet has screwed up so I can't watch the video, does it actually show him bowling.
Has to play grade cricket before FC, you'd think. What Indian FC team can he play for? Mumbai and Delhi are out because they're too congested. UP, TN and Punjab are out because their pace options are settled. Bengal, Rajasthan, Railways and HP have weak fielding support. Baroda have an opening, with only Munaf and Irfan as settled options, though Murtaza Vora is a regular. Gujarat have steady medium-pacers, no fast bowlers, so he can replace any bar Sid Trivedi. Saurashtra have a weak, pop-gun attack, but good fielding, so it's a tight issue. Maharashtra (Pune) is one place to avoid- so much resoruces, so little results, and they have serious management problems. Tamil Nadu have an opening, with only Balaji and Yo Mahesh settled. Karnataka don't have any major names bar the slow Vinay Kumar and the erratic Aiyappa, winner of the inaugural Scorpio Speedster. He's a lot faster (as shown in the video) than any of the Haryana bowlers (that's an easy guess), but they're settled with Joginder, Rana and Billa. He can lead the Hyderabad attack, given their pace strength. I've covered every Elite team and some good Plate teams, but the other teams in India are not likely to do much so he won't get noticed there.
There's a chance that he may bypass that. After all, he's spoken of as someone special.Has to play grade cricket before FC, you'd think.
Then he should have no problem running through a few grade sidesThere's a chance that he may bypass that. After all, he's spoken of as someone special.

Say what?!if he wow's everbody in the IPL then he has a spot in the national team-its that simple.
Probably unintentionally, but he's likely right. If he bowls consistently at 150kph, can you see the selectors choosing Praveen Kumar or Munaf Patel over him for the World T20? After all, they are not the sharpist knives in the drawer.Say what?!
