Munir Dar playing as a spinner at XI is weird lol. He's a big hitter who chucks it IRL. Doing a decent job tho.

Our weakness was always going to be our bowling. Batters have been good. Maybe should try Afzaal Haider and Ehsan Nawaz in place of Aizaz Khan and Tanwir Afzal next game, tho I doubt it would make a big difference.

Ok, one last standings update before the last stretch of group games for the qualifiers:

Namibia on 6 points, all 6 games played
PNG ON 8 points, 5 games played
Scotland 6 points, 5 games played
Netherlands 2 points, 5 games played
UAE 6 points, 6 games played
Nepal 8 points, 5 games played
Hong Kong 0 points, 4 games played

PNG V HONG KONG
NEPAL V SCOTLAND
HONG KONG V NETHERLANDS

PNG and Nepal are guaranteed to qualify for the main stage with 1 game left each, and Hong kong + Netherlands both miss out. UAE, Namibia and scotland are all in with a chance to make the last 2 slots of the main round.

I can't do NRR since I have to sim these games one at a time, so instead i'm going to do a tri series system to determine the final 4 teams at the end if there's a tie on points.

So if we end up with PNG beating hong kong, scotland beating nepal and Hong kong beating the netherlands, points would be:

PNG 10
NEPAL 8
SCOTLAND 6
NAMIBIA 6
UAE 6

from there, A tri series would be played between scotland, namibia and UAE, where each team plays eachother once. So
Namibia v UAE
SCOTLAND V UAE
Namibia V scotland

If UAE win both games AND NAmibia win one, UAE would be 3rd, and Namibia would be 4th.

It's quite possible to work out NRR based on the data you've posted; if you wanted it wouldn't take long.

I imagine it would be possible, I just can't be bothered going through and applying the NRR formula to the score's and balls played from each scorecard.

Ok, so Group stage is done. Standings are as follows:

Namibia on 6 points, all 6 games played
PNG ON 10 points, 6 games played
Scotland 6 points, 6 games played
Netherlands 4 points, 6 games played

Nepal 10 points, 6 games played
Hong Kong 0 points, 6 games played

Hong kong fail to register a win despite M dar taking a bucket full of wickets and runs from chapman, rath, n khan and a few decent knocks from hayat.

How things are going to proceed from here:

1st will play 4th and 2nd will play 3rd, team that wins the final and loser of 2nd plays 3rd go to group 1 in main event, other 2 teams to group two.
Nepal and PNG will play a one-off game, winner is 1st, loser is 2nd in the above scenario. Tri series as described in an earlier post will then take place between Namibia, UAE and scotland to determine 3rd and 4th.
