Can we start giving coronis a pass since he is never here. Its killing the charm. He can pick his due players whenever he comes online.

People may not like me for saying this but if you can not take a look at the forum once a day then you should not participate in Draft games.

Joe Root for mine

Incidentally, for current players likely to move with ranges in the next couple of weeks such as Root, it's how many tests they've played upon you selecting them.
Yeah as much as I would've loved to get Donald myself, pretty sure Steyn is ineligible this round now.

Yeah, but when does this test go into the record books? When can you say "he's played 79 tests" and not "he's playing his 79th test right now"? For example, this won't say 79 until the test is over, so there's an argument to be made that he'd only "played"/completed 78 tests when I selected him.

...though that argument would be ignoring common sense.

Ultimately, though, I'm not too fussed either way. Just thought it was worth a shot.

if stern retires right now or drops dead this very minute, he would be credited as having played 79 tests. the minute the team sheets were exchanged between captains three days ago, he automatically became ineligible for this round.

Probably gonna kick myself in later rounds for not taking a certain bowler but I'll go for Martin Crowe. Have always rated him very highly.

Hanif
Bardsley
Crowe
Rhodes
Davidson
Blackham
Croft

And yeah on Statsguru which I understand is almost 'live' stats, Steyn is credited with 79 tests already so should be ineligible for this round.

I can think of 3 Aussie bats who fit the criteria with Bill Lawry narrowly the best.

1
2 Lawry
3
4 Nourse
5 Armstrong
6
7 Lindwall
8
9 Bishop
10 Tayfield
11 Reid
