Ok, in the setting up of the Database i need a little help from people...


I need a bit of info on all the teams Grounds/Climate etc...

The following info i need on the following teams...

* Ground Size (Very Small - Small - Medium - Large - Very Large)
* Assistance for Bowlers
Spinners (Very Small - Small - Medium - Large - Very Large)
Medium Pacers (Very Small - Small - Medium - Large - Very Large)
Quicks (Very Small - Small - Medium - Large - Very Large)
* Usual Pitch Condition at Start of match (Great - Good - Average - Poor - Very Poor)
* Bounce (Very High - High - Average - Low - Very Low)
*Match Starting Time eg 10am
*Sunset Time

* How often Weather Changes(Very Often - Often - Average - Occasionally - Rarely)
* Climate? (Rainy - Cloudy - Humid - Sunny - Very Sunny)

Wouldn't it be better to leave most if this stuff up to each of the team's managers?

Well no, because what manager is gonna want his area to have alot of rain? And if we are using real grounds then why should their sizes be fake??

Yeah I mean the pitch conditions.

As for rain, it's a bit unfair for other managers isn't it? I mean we had this problem with the WCC Sim, where managers complained because their team was in an area which rained alot and therefore cost them alot of wins.

Well people will just have to deal with it... it happens... We have been through this before, people want realism until it goes against their side then they sulk...

Alright, just pointing it out for the sake of managers with English teams.

With the climate around Sri Lanka it depends on the time of the season. If its during the monsoon season then there will be a lot a rain. But if it isn't then it will just be hot. If you want to be realistic you got to give a range in months. The indiviual pitchs and ground you have to ask someone who has been to these grounds, I've only been to SSC and RPS.

Sunset time tends to vary, unless you're around the equator.

* Usual Pitch Condition at Start of match: Good
* Bounce: High
*Match Starting Time: it certainly used to be 11am although that might have changed
*Sunset Time: in the summer it ranges from 6:30pm early on in the season to 9pm around June/July

* How often Weather Changes: Occasionally
* Climate? Despite the stereotypes...Central English summers are either rainy or sunny....so Rainy or Sunny....and we've had a cold winter so it should be a fairly average summer this year i think

Weather Change: In summer i reckon its about average.
Climate: Very Sunny when the suns out!
