Asia XI:
Tendulkar⁷
Jayasuriya⁶
Kohli
Rohit
Abbas
Dhoni+*
Dev³
Akram¹
Saqlain⁵
Bumrah²
Murali⁴
RoW XI:
Gilchrist+
Lara
Ponting*
Richards⁶
De Villiers
Bevan⁷
Klusener⁵
Pollock³
Warne⁴
McGrath¹
Garner²
Batting -
Gilchrist = Jayasuriya (leaning Jayasuriya)
Richards>Tendulkar (clearly Viv, but not by a huge margin as I rated previously)
De Villiers=Kohli (leaning Kohli)
Bevan=Dhoni (leaning Dhoni)
Ponting>Rohit (Ponting is slightly better than Rohit, but the difference is larger here as Sharma is out of his natural position)
Lara<Abbas (same as Viv and SRT, probably just a little bigger margin)
Klusener>>Dev (that one is pretty massive. Though Kapil actually had a pretty good batting peak as long as Zulu's career and 24 average doesn't do his batting justice much, Zulu was a different beast down the order)
Pollock>Akram (again pretty decisive, though by now the value you get out of there batting is significantly lower than the top order difference)
Warne>Saqlain (at this point, does it even matters)
Not accounting for Garner, I would say the Asia XI has a clear advantage with the openers, while RoW XI has a clear advantage in the middle order as well as the lower order. So, they are ahead.
Bowling -
Garner=Akram (leaning Garner)
McGrath=Murali (leaning McGrath)
Pollock=Bumrah (leaning Bumrah)
Warne<Saqlain (this one's I don't think is massive, but do think is substantially big)
Klusener<<Dev (this one's actually massive)
Richards<Jayasuriya (Sanath just remember began as a bowler who can bat and didn't regressed like Smith)
Bevan<Tendulkar (again, doesn't matters by now)
RoW XI has a very very slight advantage with the leading 3, while the Asia XI has the much better 4th bowler and massively better 5th; with better 6th and 7th options. So, they are ahead.
Fielding-
Tier 1:
RoW: Ponting, de Villiers, Richards
Asia: Jayasuriya
Tier 2:
RoW: Bevan, Klusener
Asia: Kohli, Dev
Tier 3:
RoW: Lara, Garner, Warne, Pollock
Asia: Tendulkar, Abbas, Akram
Tier 4:
RoW: McGrath
Asia: Saqlain, Murali, Bumrah
So yeah, a pretty huge upperhand on fielding for the RoW XI
Wicketkeeping:
Gilchrist overall is a better keeper, but Dhoni is easily ahead in ODIs as a keeper
Captaincy:
A huge advantage to Asia XI, with Dhoni being one of, if not the best Captain of All time in ODIs. Ponting was a decent captain.
Final verdict: Asia XI at lead with 52:48
