Yeah I wouldn't have ruled out Oman or Nepal but they got bundled out in the pre-qualifier qualifier in 2020. UAE are so much better than the other three teams in this comp.

Anshuman Rath should give up on his IPL/Ranji dream and return to playing for us tbh.

He was never a gun T20 player even for HK - longer form stuff was always more his thing, so I can't see him ever getting an IPL gig. Definitely good enough to be in the top half of Ranji bats if he gets a proper run at it though.

Odisha was burying him in the middle order, didn't even get a crack until mid season. Let's see if he gets a fair go next Ranji season, otherwise feels a bit of a waste of his talent when he could be playing internationals for us.
