@GIMHIt's like calling Anderson one of the top 10 pace bowlers of last decade.
Yeah Ashwin the greatest spinner while Kimble the greatest pace bowler..So is Ashwin the greatest Indian bowler of all time?
I think yes.
Good Dr that Kimble, fugitive though.Yeah Ashwin the greatest spinner while Kimble the greatest pace bowler..
Ashwin's peak is pretty high I'd say. Been absolutely dominant in India for roughly a decade.guys like Dev/Chandrasekhar/Bedi the more devastating peaks,
Can't argue here if you want a team who is going to win. It's a shame to not squeeze VVS in but with really strong batting to 9 you can do this.my atg indian xi atm subject to change

Yeah I used to pronounce it Kumbal like a blanket. I was very surprised when I found out that wasn't the case.I remember the first time my dad read his name from a scorecard, around the time of his debut, he pronounced Kumble as if it rhymed with crumble.
Well if he makes the improvement as a keeper that the likes of Prior and Bairstow did then he will be. They were poor keepers to start with but worked hard and improved dramatically which Pant could do as he is still so young. Can't argue here if you want a team who is going to win. It's a shame to not squeeze VVS in but with really strong batting to 9 you can do this.
I wonder if by the time Pant has played 30 or 40 more tests he might even be considered over MS? Pant has that vibe you'd just want in your team, providing he can keep tidily enough. Sort of player who can really worry opposition bowlers.
