Are you a better Batsman,Bowler,Or All Rounder?

David, weather conditions here are pretty good for swing most of the time aren't they? I notice it swings almost all morning and a fair bit off the medium pacers.

Generally Canberra is a seamers paradise , the atmospheric conditons are perfect & most of the wickets sport alot of grass & are pretty inconsistent.
I love it here:D

By the way did you play this week , both my matches got washed out:!( :( :!(

Im a #1 or #3 batsman, for School, Club and District, #4 or #5 for County. I like to settle in, play the singles about and get fours only by placement and timing 8D . I couldnt slog to save my life :( .
Im a medium-fast bowler, used to keep it tight, whenever i get a bowl that is, ;)

No game for me! :(
Playing up in Nth Canberra it was so wet it was impossible to play on. Probably a good thing as we weren't exactly headed for 1st innings points! A draw - our best result so far. We are in dire need of a specialist batsman (we have one. ONE)

and don't dis waqar,he was gr8 in his day, the best bowler in the world at the time...and one of the best bowlers EVER!!!
I didn't say he wasn't good, but i am saying that he bowled 2 beamers with 1 ball in between, aparently not deliberately

Mr Mxyzptlk, at cricket training I didn't cut my pace, but I angled the seam and had it moving around, got a bit of an off-cutter happening too. Got one guy from my team out 6 times. Cheers! :D

I am a batter who can usually bowl a few overs however I am going through a wides stage in my bowling so the safest option for me at the moment is to stick with the batting.

Opener, or number 6 at state.

I consider myself to be a bowler who bats a bit...

Bowl legspin, usually first or second change, and trundle through a dozen overs, then bat at either number 3 or 8,9... My bowling action is a mimic of Stewart MacGill...

Ive been told I look very clasy when I bat, but Ive never had much raw talent, so I tend to have to work within my ability.. and I cant slog at all, thats a big no no :)... I bat very much like a tall Daren Ganga...

Batter who bowls a bit though I was having more luck with the ball last season.

Got myself a Gray Nicholls Scimitar and it is ^%&^%£" %(*&. :!( Doesn't have a middle that is worthy of the name so had to go back to my trusty County bat which got me my top score which was SOOOO crap I ain't even going to post it. :(

Mines almost similar to Lang/Rich except im his opposite..

I consider myself to be a bowler who bats a bit...

Bowl Offspin, usually second or third change, and rely on good spin and flight..to keep the rpo and strike very often..mimic'd Harbajan Singhs style almost, its exactly same for most people....most bowlers in my school comp are just plain slow bowlers who try and spin... i was probably the only one in the school comps with off spin to my name.., then bat at either number 5,6, or 7

Im Not classy overall but my straight and cover drives are the most perfect looking shots ever seen said some coaches..Im a good night-watchman.. saved the team lots of times just sticking in getting runs and winning the game. Can bat for a good period of time once i get through atleast 4-5 overs.
I bat with a custom made bat..kims seen it its.. like a look alike to sachins bat for real .. thick as meat.. you cant feel the bowl when it hits the bat.. the bowl just runs away to the boundary..

Ive just come back from bowling at a guy who had an MRF.. My first two balls pitched on middle, turned and were belted through the covers.. So I reverted to my old style of bowling pace, short of a length isnt his strength, and it was great competition, pity it was just a net..

My bat is my trusty but almost unknown Bellingham and Smith <--- As shown in my pic :) .. I wouldnt swap it for the world... :D

I'm more a batsman, who can bowl a bit of slow medium pace. I can also keep wickets.

But I only play indoor! :D

I tried that a couple of times. Once on the beach I tried it, but the wind was blowing from right to left across the right-hander and the ball kept on drifting down the legside... very frustrating. I get decent bounce with it though. Then again, I'm 6ft 3", so I get decent bounce anyway.

Hopeless batsmen, hopeless bowler, decent fielder, see Ed Smith to get an idea.

Poor throwing arm so I field at mid off/mid on, bat at 11, technique good, similar to Michael Slater and Michael Vaughan (more of a cross between them), bowling action identical to Chris Cairns, but a tad way ward.

Bat like Courtney Walsh and bowl like Brendon Juilen.

Funnily enoughh, I am right handed but I can bowl much more accurately left handed and once bowled somebody in doing so :D
