Jacques Kallis is up there with Murali as the most important players for there team in the world.

It's great for Australia though if Saffies are second, I mean they have Amla in there side, lol - I don't think bowling is anything special at the moment, although SA must be very pleased with Paul Harris.

He is still the one England bowler they are terrified of. Now whether that is justified or not anymore is debatable (and I know most peoples thoughts on here) but they would breath a sigh of relief if he didnt play
Where would you get this from anyway, if his numbers against don't justify fear & nobody's actually said it how can you say they fear him?

It's been a while, but I don't remember any of the players visibly shivering when they came out to bat, or the coach pushing a weeping Graeme Smith onto the field.

Think Kev was saying someone had said this, just not publically.

I can't understand why they would either, but he's not the sort to make stuff like that up.

Anyway, he's signed for the Lions now, so starting the homesickness timer, he'll be pining for the white cliffs of Dover in about 4 weeks, go scurrying back to Newcastle in about 6 weeks and be in a completely unfit state physically, and mentally as the Toon go yet another season winning bugger all, to play by the time SA come 'round, so it's sorted.

Plus Plunkett has signed for KZN, so the genius coaching staff there will ensure that he's completely buggered up his form, technique, fitness & everything else. Flintoff still won't be fit & Jones won't be around either.

There is still a long way to go... They should keep winning even more away series... U can see on the ICC Test table if they are #2 Test team in the world....
