It's ridiculous how expensive players are these days, but I'm not too displeased with the price. He's not in desperate need of stamina or secondaries, he's got superb leadership & abysmal experience, and if I'm not mistaken, is close to respectable. Even though I was hoping for my 2 batting trainees to be cautious & attacking, I'd rather him be steady than defensive (Gray) or destructive (Mcmillan).

Actually, can anyone tell me how close he is to respectable batting, roughly?

Haha I lost by an innings and 189 runs with Naidoo taking 13 wickets for 11 runs in the match....

My last seven players failed to score a run in the second innings. I'm not sold on FC yet as it seems that pitch type has a huge effect on the match from what I've seen, I got rolled by one player basically but then again I could just be very bitter about it.

I might play a full-strength team next week and see how I get on.

I'm a little worried about finances myself, as I still only have the default 6,500 stadium and will be losing more games than I win this season. My morale is likely to be the wrong side of happy most, if not all of the time, and I'm not going to be close to filling my stadium, or really adding significantly to my membership.

That said, I have £534k in the bank, so I should be ok for now. Already looks like I'm going to be playing Div VI cricket in both forms next season though.

I'd say you're wrong, unless you're **** or in a tough league I'd say you'll be better off. My match only lasted 2 days, got 6k and 7k into the ground each day and notched basically exactly the subsidy. Once I build some morale I'll rake that **** in, easy as pie.

We only play 7 FC home games though, and we had been getting the FC subsidy every week of the season (18 weeks?) meaning you need to rake in around 140k gate receipts for each home game to match the FC subsidy. (Thanks to Morpork for pointing this out to me the other day )

so my figures are gonsky....i am putting 20k into youth should i pull that back for a while and just work with the players i have i also have its points of 52.......what should i do or what do you guys recommend

If you're in a tight situation with finances, i'd stop putting money into ITS altogether until you're on top of things.
