On another note, FC games have all been moved back a week, and games that have been played will need to be replayed.

We are very sorry to have to do this and have investigated all sorts of solutions to rectify these problems but with the current issues facing us and the imbalance this has created, we have to make the necessary decision of moving First Class games back one week this season.
This will mean that all games that have already completed will need to be played again. We do realise what that means to everyone but it is the right decision to make in the overall interests of the game.

We will be looking into what affects this will have on everyone with regards to finances, impact on the end of season schedule, etc and will be making another announcement as soon as any decisions are made in this area.

We would like to thank you all for your patience during this time and assure you that we will do everything possible to ensure such problems do not arise again in the future.

Lobes! Don't quit! Tis the woman's way out. As Greg said, buy some gun all-rounder and win all yer matches.

Haha this is good - means I can GFI my game tomorrow and not worry about PFL! Woo, all players at sublime.

Though ratings probably won't be as good due to the lack of OTM morale? Is that right? Does morale affect ratings still?

Oh. My. GOODNESS! That is RIDICULOUS about First Class moving back a week! I'm currently having the match of my life here! ARGHHHHHHH

Irritating. Just won my game and my players have taken a fitness hit.

GFI tomorrow before I have to sell one of my players to try and get a new BatStats ranking. :p

And that's the end of the match. Chubby Chasers won by an innings and 231 runs.

End of Over 58 (Maiden). Swamibapa Leeds CC: 184-10, runrate=3.17 (1st Inn: 87-10)
Trail by 231 runs. (Chubby Chasers 502-4 dec)
Mcgoldrick 25-3-86-4
Cavanagh* 0 (0 balls)
57.6 W Mcgoldrick to Searle
Searle shuffles across his stumps to a ball of fullish length from Mcgoldrick. Trapped plumb in front.

Game over. Comprehensively smashed.

Heh, actually don't mind that FC is delayed. I was actually planning on winning my league this season, but forgot to change orders to include 5/6 first team players.

EDIT: I must say, the bloke who pulled this guy, must've been rather pissed off he didn't put any ITS on stamina....

Put a bit on 'crap name' though IIRC.

My side's entering it's second full season, and were 9 down in their second innings with a lead of only about 50. Needless to say, I'm not terribly displeased with the fixture being scrapped.

Gah! My best ever bowling performance, erased! Balls. Can't believe it's forever stricken from the record books. Still seem to have the morale/supporter boost from the win, though.

really miffed about the FC games going back as I was well in front against a team that outclassed me by a fair distance. :@

Basically, I'm screwed because I needed the money from tomorrow to have any chance of staying afloat without selling someone.

Ditto. Well, I was fighting for a draw, but it had still been a good performance. Very annoying. At least I can comfortably GFI in the Cup on Sunday and perhaps win my first ever game in the competition.

I think in the Australian thread about this there was talk of compensation. Not sure if it was confirmed.

One of the GMs in the England thread said they were "very aware" of the financial complications this causes some people, so I suspect they'll find a solution that addresses those for the most part. My suspicion is that they won't process the financial updates on Saturday, and we'll just have a "week 2" that goes on for a fortnight. Then they just have to take back the FC gates and it'll be pretty much as if nothing had happened, save for some PFL and morale issues.

If you're actually in the process of going bust, PY, I'd be pretty confident they'll extend the bankruptcy period. I don't think they'll leave anyone financially in the lurch over this.

'Course, I could be completely wrong and they'll run off into the distance with all our benjamins, laughing and buying each other crack.

So not fair that someone could get this bloke as a YP. Will be interesting to see if someone is willing to fork out that much.
