Basically, that's just ****ing awesome. First ever Wonderful rating, and a solid allround performance. I can't go any lower than 4th from here, as the NRR gap between myself and 5th place is 15 or so. I can grab 3rd, however, if the team I played today loses next week (and I win), which is by no means out of the question.

Wrapped up the FC league with another easy win this week. Have dropped one point all season(opposition team declared on me), had 12 innings victories and 1 nine wicket win. I've been bowled out once all season and lost 40 wickets in 13 games, whilst scoring 29 centuries and 8 fifties. Ken Challinor has scored 12 centuries in 14 innings including 8 notouts and 7 unbeaten double centuries. My bowlers have taken 244 wickets@9.04 but 15 players have bowled and most of them were dire, my top 5 bowlers took 200@4.54 and my top 3 took 167@3.25. It was a good decision to relegate last year

Will finish 3rd in my OD league after a dissapointing loss last week which would have given me a tilt at the title, but i can still have an influence of who goes up playing the team joint top last game of the season.

First Class will probably take a holding role next year as i try to return to div 3 in OD, with major players being just below full fitness contributing to key OD losses this season. The fact that i have plenty of time at work to mess about with my side may help somewhat as well

Player development wise it's been a decent year with the arrival of Major and Murdoch who should develop into decent players next year. Cash may be spent in the off season in pursuit of anotherr decent batsman which would give the side a decent balance.

Easy win in OD.

Bidding on Badenhorst is up to $780,300 with a day left. Hoping for around $2m for him so I'll have enough for two respectable trainees next season and keep the $80k interest.

Anybody looking for a decent destructive keeper/batsmen should go and bid on him right now! I want a bidding war.

GFI'ing in a match I'm relatively unlikely to win against the league leaders. Hoping for a good result as I'm still in with a mathematical chance of topping the league, but will be happy if I just keep it close. The usual early wicket goes to Oleary, and now the real batsmen start coming in...

Aaah, rookie mistake this morning. I overslept and didn't wake up until my game had started. Consequently, my default (strongest possible) side is playing against the team who are 7th in my league when most of them are still meant to be taking it easy after the body-sapping games last week.

To make it worse, I'm batting first, so it's not like it'll even be over quickly. Still, should be entertaining - might break some records today.

End of Over 7: 52-0, runrate=7.43

Got their entire top 4 out within the first 8 balls of the innings. Interesting. They get exceptional/quality/mediocre batting ratings - up there with that shower of piss that fluked the miracle of all miracles on Sunday because of BT's pathetic match engine.

Well, it's been a pretty good start for the Wonderers at Sanderson Park today. The Tykes are batting, and 8/2 after 3 overs (having been 2/2 after 2), with Ishaq and Hanson back in the pavilion.

However, Hoose's bunch bat pretty deep, so there's plenty more to do. Drury and Stansfield are more than capable of putting together a huge partnership for the 3rd wicket.

I'm playing a full-strength team (although I've plumped for Buckley's all round skills rather than Hardy's better bowling) -- I need to win my two remaining OD games to avoid auto-relegation, while I think Pete will reach mathematical safety with a win today.

4th century in 7 OD innings for Kepler this season (the other three have resulted in 50's). His invigorated fitness may prevent him from beating his HS of 173 but his career average of 107.88 will get another boost.

Wah wah wah. Suck it in and be a man for once. I'm so incredibly bored of hearing your pathetic sob stories that litter these battrick and from the pavillion threads. If you don't like the engine, stop playing the ****ing things or, even better, be constructive and build an alternative game that doesn't have such a "pathetic match engine".

Agreed. Would love to play a game invented by SP and monopolise the 'You know what really grinds my gears?' thread on OT with rants about how I've been screwed over by his match engine.

Turns out my opponent sneakily switched his green pitch to H+F overnight, which makes the way my bowlers have kept things tight until now all the more pleasing. If I can keep them below 230 I'm in with a shout, I reckon.

Particularly pleased with prof/resp Marriott going for just 24 off his 10 overs. Now for the front-liners to take up the strain...

Yet Another Five-fer For Oleary (henceforth to be referred to as YAFFO for short), as they're all out with five balls left.

End of Over 50: 213-10, runrate=4.26
Oleary 9-1-40-5
Pead 10-1-42-4
Hinshelwood* 2 (5 balls)

Still very much in the balance as they've got some very strong bowlers, but keeping them below 250 is a great effort. Shame I'll be in a car all evening and won't get to watch all of my innings (barring a horrible collapse).

GFI'ng to put this newly promoted side in their place ie. behind me in the league...

GFI'd my match against the last place side. Worked out well, as I took the lead in the league on NRR. Will GFI my next match as well to make sure I get a 1st spot. I'm playing 4th, Runners are playing 3rd. I actually don't want to promote in OD. I just don't want some side in D2 throwing a playoff and leaving me in D3 for too long.
