Tension building - he's got strength down the order but Turner makes the breakthrough as the last half-decent bat goes. All very exciting... :)

Thanks mate! Just celebrated the victory by making a new signing:

Andrew Mclean (107827)

LH Batsman, LF Bowler, proficient batting form, proficient bowling form, sublime fitness.
A steady player with strong leadership skills and competent experience.

Plays For: The Heath CC
Nationality: England
Age: 25 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 10,974 (+528)
Wages: £1,371 p/w

Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: woeful
Batting: proficient Concentration: respectable
Bowling: worthless Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: mediocre

Cost me a tad under £800k. Pretty pleased as he'll bolster my batting lineup and gives me an excellent captaincy option, seeing as Gardiner (comp/woe bat) is definitely slipping down the pecking order.

Solid, but I'm going to need more than 250 to be a chance of winning this game.

Churms gave me something to bowl with. He now has to follow up that innings by opening the bowling.

Last Wicket: Clarke c. Beaumont b. Sicelo 34 (FOW: 207/3)
Sicelo taking his only wicket with his last ball. Good bowling though with 1/38.

Hoping Wikus and Poke destroy them now, bowl them out for about 230. Chase will be interesting.

EDIT: Just looked at his bowlers, nothing too special, a Destructive spinner, about Wonderful, and its a Dusty pitch. But Wikus is better, and didnt do much in his first spell. So i should chase it, but i probably wont.

Last Wicket: Fordham lbw b. Keegan 107 (FOW: 202/3)

Fordham falls after his second career century. A fine innings from him.

Wilberforce currently averages 8 in OD matches, with a high score of 15. Not expecting him to improve that today tbh.

Had a comfortable 113 run victory on PAN. I probably could have played on TIE but I couldn't risk having an upset loss after losing my first 2 rounds. Moloto was the star with the bat, being left stranded on 95* as we racked up 245. Meyer took 3, and Hamlin 4 as they cleaned up the opposition inside 35 overs for 132.

Gordon 0 (0 balls)

Going to fall short of the total. Disappointed with the bowling but a great batting effort against a much better side.

Edit: All over in the next over.

And that's the end of the match. Rabbit Force won by 77 runs.

My game could turn out to be quite interesting, bowled them out for 101 and I'm 18/2 currently with my two last decent bats in at the moment.

Nail chomping time.

BARNES OUT
Knocked off downy quite easily in the end. By 130-odd runs.

Can someone link me to the stadium calculator, got a feeling I might be needing an upgrade. Sold out today.
