Won very easily in the end.
We got 275/6 after the 50 overs, so it always looked like they would find it difficult to chase down.
They didn't look in the game at all. We bowled them for 55 in 16.4 overs. Kahn and Sidebottom doing the damage with 4 wickets each.

Coasted to victory today against one of the many poor sides in my league. Gutted to lose the toss as I was hoping to bat first and get my trainees some more exposure, but Hardy bowled a good spell on debut, and the rest of the bowlers chipped in with regular wickets as well. Kepler (37) and Grant batted steadily to put on 89 for the 1st wicket before Kepler fell, leaving Thorpe to come in and bludgeon The Heath to victory with 35* from 29 balls. Grant passed 50 for the sixth time this season (2 50's, 3 100's, 1 200) and went past 900 runs in the process.
Two more easy games to come, and then we start facing the prospect of losing a few in Div V.

If you had 5-6 nets you could spare just like that then yes he probably is worth. If you only have say 2-4 then you probably better of getting a finished specialist for the same price.

They're pretty good at 9m, if you split that guy into a batter and a bowler you'd get over 5m each comfortably. Also looks like there's some reasonable sublevels too.
If this was next season I'd be tempted myself, but I don't have enough nets free.
Basically in 2-3 seasons that guy will be worth 20+ million.
